Intel has unveiled a new initiative and brand, Evo , which deals with mobile systems. This is a development of the Project Athena platform , within which it is planned to expand standards and improve laptops. As such, the Evo logo would indicate that the laptop meets a number of metrics. Intel spoke about future laptops
The list of requirements looks like this:

  • Diagonal 12-15 inches
  • FHD + Narrow Bezel Touchscreen Display
  • 11th generation processor
  • 8 GB RAM or more in dual channel mode
  • At least 256 GB of permanent memory as SSD NVMe
  • Less than 1 second to wake up from sleep mode
  • Availability of Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6 interfaces
  • Case thickness no more than 15 mm
  • Working time is not less than 9 hours
  • Fast charging and at least 4 hours of operation after half an hour of connecting to the mains
    AI support.

Many major manufacturers have already confirmed their participation in the Evo program. Note that ASUS is expected to have five notebooks of this type at once. Also, Samsung is preparing its own model .
